This Inflating table by Fernando and Humberto is so cool it blows the rest of the competition away.
The designers , Fernando and Humberto Campana wanated to produce a table which was its own package. No screws or anything like that. After several concept drawings, they came up with this. The current Inflatable table is easily storable when the bladder body is deflated. The legs are also removable enabling it to be stored flat, rather like a couple of pizza pans stacked on top of each other.
When you need it, you just literally pump it up with your trusty foot pump and you’ve got your inflatable table as and when you need it. Because it’s so easy to keep and use not to mention fun, its perfect for use as commercial bar tables during beach parties and barbeques.

Adriano Tolomei’s Baba Spider outdoor bar chair is one interesting connection. It looks rather like the female side of the male/female connectors with a the central slot ripe for receiving your in comfort. The shell is moulded polypropylene resin available in grey, black, off white with the frame in aluminium and structure in industrial steel tube for pure strength .
Imagine sliding into the smooth seat for a chat with the girl next door with the backrest perfectly positioned for the hand-over-shoulder maneuver or if shes touchy, the less intimidating hand on the waist. This is the outdoor bar chair made for those more active denizens of the night. The slight lean back angle gives a comfortable place to rest and drink the night away in comfort and style.

Hail the advert of the a revolution in the design of modern bar chairs. The Wantuz by Reha Erdogan brings back the oldies with it’s hippy design and colors. The clear plexiglas is a play with shapes and opacity deliberately see through to allow the the glass holding vacuums their place in the equation adding to the general coolness of the piece.
The use of glass holding vacuums in the body frame of the Wantuz means that You have the flexibility to change colors, or shapes anytime you want according to your mood. Mix and match as you like, pair a black top and white bottom for some classic cool or what about pink and lime green for that psychedelic touch. The plexiglas being highly receptive to coloring can even be customized with your own designs (D.I.Y of course). With the recent popularity of spray paint as guerrilla art, I wonder it’ll be no wonder to me if I see works of art soon displayed on the billboards of this modern bar chair.

Once in a while, something comes along which for the good of mankind, I absolutely cannot allow to pass. Today, this such thing is the Uni chair by Tung Chiang. I am absolutely bamboozled that it passed the quality control of the manufacturer. Oh man, someone pass me the eye bleach. I need to sear the impressions of this seat from my retinas and be blind forever. Shown above is a version where damage control has been done. If you’ve seen the original clear pink version like I have, you’d probably wonder what was going on in his mind when he released this abomination unto the world.
Well, after some digging, I found this. Be ready to see how this lousy seat was made , Chung : “I love to do unexpected things with good. In this vein, I thought that a sea urchin might make a wonderful seat” , “rather then having a urchin sit on top of limbs of rice like a piece of sushi, I thought maybe we could try to sit on it instead.”. 0.o Bad idea man, this coming from such an acclaimed international award winning designer like Tung Chiang is just sad. One of his more uninspired works is this hairy sea urchin of a chair. A definite bomb.
