Timeless, classic, this are just some of the words that come to mind when I gaze upon this chair. Designed by GrupoKettal as part of their collection of very nice bar stools, this chair hits all the right notes.. The solid base has that old school charm of bygone era barber stools, where men used to go for a good shave, to share a laugh with friends and socialise with the rest. Those old faded black and white pictures where cowboys sat around salons having the odd drink amidst the wild west. Those were the days indeed.
Shallow groves adorn the shaft of the chair giving it depth, and giving it warmth. The shadowed grooves seem all the brighter when the sun gazes onto it and finds it good. The footrest is just another feather on the cap. It connects the old cowboy base of the stool to its more intricate Victorian inspired top. Intricately shaped and welded, the back rest further draws the eye subtly inducing us to run our hands over and feel the ornate metalwork. The white cushion makes it complete. Not to loud, not to subdued, just the right color and size. Combined, the individual unique features of this chair bespeak of an era long gone, an era of great men and fantastic adventures.
